What other New York City neighborhoods are similar to Midtown?

I guess the closest neighborhood to Midtown would be the Financial District. Aesthetically, they're somewhat similar in that both neighborhoods are largely compromised of skyscrapers and commercial buildings. Fidi has a lot more in the realm of historical landmarks but they have nearly the same amount of tourist activity (which is a ton) and they both have a much more commercial -city feel than a neighborhood sort of feel.
