Where is the closest high school to West Hobart?
West Hobart, TAS 7000 is located within the Hobart local government area, part of the Greater Hobart Region in Tasmania.

Ogilvie High School - grade 7-10 is an all girls public high.
New Town High - grade 7-10 is an all boys public high.
Both these schools are very good schools - my son went to New Town High and loved it and he has made great life long mates.
Taroona High - grade 7-10 is a co-ed school and is a decent 25-35 min school bus trip (depending on traffic). The kids catch the bus at 7:30am from West Hobart. This school is on the river front in Taroona. Great reputation, but it is a distance to travel each day.
Then you have the private schools in the immediate area - St Marys - Kinder - 12 girls only. Guildford Young gr 7 -12 Co-Ed. Friends Kinder - 12. Collegiate Kinder - 12. St Virgil's Kinder - 10 .
