Any recommendations for a fitness center or gym in Lakeview, Chicago?

Xport is the cheapest. FFC is more than twice the rate, Lakeview Athletic Club is about 100/mo last I looked. Fitness 19 is on the border of Lakeview/ Lincoln Park and they're also cheap. LA Fitness Also near Diversey may be reasonable too.

I would say if you live east lakeview or wrigleyville Quad's gym is the best overall quiet place to work out if you are serious. The place is laid back and extremely quiet. Most people who work out there have been their for years and their is a certain friendliness and a bit of intimacy.

Lakeview has a bunch of great workout places. Depending on where in Lakeview you are, there is a YMCA in just off Lincoln and Roscoe near the Whole Foods, an XSport just down the street in the same area of western Lakeview, and Lakeview Athletic Club in East Lakeview on Broadway.
