Well, one great place is the Community Center of Northern Westchester located in Katonah, NY. They are always looking for volunteers and teens are most certainly welcome. Interested volunteers work in either the Donations Room, the Food Pantry of the Clothing Boutique. Yet others teach English and computer classes, pack school suppslies and help with fundraising. Bethel Nursing & Rehabilitation in Croton-on -Hudson has volunteer opps for teens ages 16 and older to help seniors with various activities. The SPCA of Westchester in Briarcliff Manor has a Junior Volunteer Program for those under 18. There are also volunteer opportunities at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, I believe.
