Are there any book stores that offer author readings on a regular basis?

I am looking to get on the email list of a book store that is good about offering readings and other events on a regular basis - any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

If you have children, the place to be for Children's Authors doing readings and having activities for them to do is at "Little Joe's Books"in Katonah www.littlejoesbooks.com. There are also readings done by Miss Cathy from the Bedford Hills Free Library.
Liitle Joe's is the "child" of Noka Joe's - a very spirited and active coffee/ice cream shop with a 1950's vibe. You may just want to check out what they are up to on a regular basis. www.nokajoes.com

Barnes & Noble has swallowed up most of the small bookstores in White Plains, but they do offer author readings. If you have kids, there is the Savvy Daddy, which has author readings as well as lots of children's events.
