I've been living in Yanchep for more than 10 years and the area and population has almost doubled since moving here.
Yanchep is one of the last spots north of Perth CBD which has that "seaside village" feel and lifestyle rather then being a "manmade suburb" as it actually used to be a fisherman's village.
The whole norther corridor is seeing an exponential growth due to the
a)australian dream of living by the beach and
b) increase in population and
c) huge interstate migration
Huge infrastructure projects open up this area even more so. The train line is under way (due to open in 2022) as well as the freeway extension!
I hope that helps?
