Which suburbs around Maitland are good? and which ones should we avoid?
Aberglasslyn, NSW 2320 is located within the Maitland local government area, part of the Hunter Region in New South Wales.
We have moved to the Hunter & love it. We are now looking to buy.... which suburbs around Maitland are good? and which ones should we avoid?

We have recently bought in Thornton and we are so happy!! Because it doesn't have surrounding suburbs (you know like walking into another suburb by waking across the street) it has a real small town feel. The people seem to be a real mixed bag but everyone so far has been lovely! It also has everything you need within the suburb and for anything else you take a 5-10min drive to Stockland Greenhills which has the bigger shops. Property prices are ridiculously affordable too! Good luck!
