Move from Sydney to Canberra
Hello everyone, my wife and I are wanting to live mortgage free and are considering a move from Sydney's North Shore to the ACT.
Would anybody be able to advise the ACT's equivalent of something like Sydney's North Shore/Northern Beaches? Suburbian, affluent, upper class area for families with good schools and shopping.

Lots of shopping occurs near Canberra Centre, although there are some others in Belconnen, Gungahlin and Fyshwick
Most of its schools are located directly South and North of its metropolitan area, and are already in suburbian environments.
Keep in mind that places which are listed as affluent may not always have the best neighbourhoods, especially those in the aforementioned suburbian environments.
