I retained the services of Cobden Hayson to sell my family home in Lawson Street, Balmain, purely to retain the services of Samantha Elvy.I had also, as we are all supposed to do, got two other agencies come through. To be honest, that was just ticking boxes. From the first time i met Samantha I knew that she was the right fit for me and my family. As a single parent, the pressure of raising two teenage girls and life in general, then deciding to sell our house was a lot. From our very first meeting, which felt more like a friend sitting across from me, I felt no pressure. No pressure to sell through Sam, no pressure in signing up. Just priceless advice and she really listened. Listened to my concerns, listened to my questions and then answered what she could and came back to me with ones that she could answer on the spot. Samantha was available to me pretty much around the clock. My calls - which were many - were either answered or returned within moments of me calling. Her support through the process of getting the house ready was amazing. Always encouraging, but also directing me to whats important and what's not. We can get carried away with wanting everything to be "just right". She constantly updated me with prospective purchasers and had a wide reach for buyers that weren't even necessarily looking. The sale was a tremendous success, especially in a tricky economic climate. I would not hesitate to recommend Samantha, as much as i'd like to keep her all to myself, she's too good not to share.
