"Absolutely unprofessional and against the law!"

She has been my real estate agent for one and a half years circa. In August 2020 I start to have issues with my flatmate, which whom I was sharing the lease, to the point she decided to break it and leave the house within one week. I decided then to take over her part. The two of them, Bev and my flatmate, were works neighbours and Bev fraternised with this girl to the point that she took her side and I got threatened to give her bond back in full otherwise Bev wasnt going to approve the new lease. It is illegal for agencies to take parties' sides and the bond dispute should be entirely on the lease sharers to discuss. Scared because of the rental crisis and completely overwhelmed by the situation, I just did what I was been told to do. I quit eating and sleeping for months, and I had nightmares about this situation for so long after. In March 2021 my lease was expiring and I get contacted by Bev telling me that the owner wants to go with a 6 months extension instead of a renewal. I asked if she knew why was that and quoting her oh, owners do that sometimes, nothing is going on. I signed the extension and sent it back to the agency. Thank god I was in really good relations with the owner, which got in contact with me the following day to make sure that I was informed properly. The property was being sold and I had to leave it in August, 6 months after. Bev has been the most unprofessional agent and one of the worst humans Ive ever met in my entire life. I would not recommend her at all and I am currently in the process of filing a case with the human rights against her.
