"Eastside Realty - worst agency you could ever imagine"

Eastside Realty literally do not give a s***t about their tenants. I have a long story to share, but I'll to make it short. We rented a room in one of their units, as soon as we moved in, we realizes there is a horrible smell from the carpet (which we didn't feel during the inspection as they had all possible windows open). The smell was impossible to stand with closed window, going out of the room to the whole unit. So we obviously addressed the issue to the agency. And then we felt like hitting the wall, anything we tried to say, they went on how its normal because the carpet was cleaned before we moved in. Then even after coming to inspect it after 1 month of complaining, they were still denying. We wanted to end the lease, move out and get our bond back. They didnt agree, we ended up applying to the Tribunal. In the Tribunal they were again lying and denying everything, therefore we got a date for official hearing after 1 more month. We couldnt live there anymore, so we had to move out and leave our bond behind. We were just recently arrived to Sydney and this agency made our first impression a true nightmare. TRY TO AVOID THEM.
