"Experienced Agent with Great Negotiation Skills"
Heather Steadman (OBrien Real Estate) sold our property located in Bentleigh East in Oct 2019. Heather also was the agent involved when we purchased the property back in 2006 (Buxton Real Estate). When our family made a decision to sell our home of 13 years we gravitated to Heather straight away. She has been in regular contact with us and has been a great resource over the years to help us better understand the market. We wanted to list our property with someone with experience and more importantly someone who is level headed and not self-promoting that will possibly turn away buyers. We found that the local real estate industry is full of great personalities and many feel it important to spend a lot of money on self-promotion. Heather is what I call the quiet achiever. When we decided to sell our home we called Heather and we all sat down and discussed the process and she was committed at the start to get best possible price for our property. We also needed advice on styling the home and other contacts like a competent conveyancing business and best method of marketing the home for sale. Heather supplied very reliable references and this helped make the sale go through with minimum disruption and stress. When the home was listed Heather was in regular contact. She kept us updated with every step and more importantly secured a sale before auction. This is evidence that Heather has very sound negotiation skills and she was able to secure a great outcome for our family. Personally I think her experience and drive to secure best outcome is a great asset and we would recommend Heather to any owner that is looking for a local agent that will secure best outcome.

With regard to the Sales Experience / Performance of Heather Steadman. I would give her a rating of 5 ( ie the highest possible mark ) During the period leading up to sale and during the sale period she worked tirelessly so that we could obtain the best result. This result was achieved when she sold the property for $205,000 over reserve! This is the Third property sold by Heather on our behalf and each Sale was very successful and we are very grateful for Heathers assistance.
