Never have I experienced, let alone heard stories of a more incompetent Real Estate Agent. Jade would take weeks to reply to the simplest of requests, questions or any communication that was required. The communication from herself AND Barry plant was appalling when dealing with the end of our lease. Having spoken and agreed upon an end of lease date over the phone with her colleague, no record of our call was documented or passed on, despite requesting a call back (Time stamps of the phone call were provided.) Instead, we were contacted a month after this initial call with a request to put our submission in writing and giving an additional 28 days notice which we needed to pay. If this initial phone call was reported we could have resolved the problem of not having our request in writing. Instead Jade chose to wait a month to follow up on our end of lease date despite having multiple correspondence discussing the new property we had been accepted into. It was our mistake not to have what was spoken about and agreed upon in writing, but the fact that she was aware we were moving due to the rent increase and DIDNT follow up until a month later meant we had to pay an additional months rent for an apartment we had already vacated the month prior. The terrible service and communication continued when we received our incident report. Instead of comparing the previous entry report Jade listed half a dozen damages that were already recorded prior to our tenancy. It took a further two weeks waiting for confirmation of this mistake from Jade, as well as an additional 2 weeks processing our bond. Overall, this was a terrible experience working with Jade. The fact that it would take at least a week to hear from her regarding even the most minimal requests or questions was baffling. Never answering her phone, or being away from the office and only until reaching out via email to those who worked in the office with her would she finally reply. For any future tenants/landlords that are ever involved with Barry plant docklands or Jade Stock in particular need to be aware of the incompetence and lack of professionalism. Replying to an email should take 5-10 business days.
