"Unprofessional"

Param Sandhawalia sold me his newly built property in Clyde North in September 2022 which was recently built by Infinity Group. Prior to the sale, Param told me that it had both cooling and heating and convinced me that it was the best property I will get in this area, in terms of location and quality of materials used for construction. The house had only heating facilities, no towel racks, no cooling facilities, no heater globes in the bathroom, no toilet paper holders, and no privacy glass in the ensuite. There were other issues such as, the shower enclosure was leaking, the laundry sink was rusty, vanity sink cabinet was not caulked, massive gaps between wall and all windows, cement residue and stained in all doors and windows, live electrical wire left in wall, amongst others. When I enquired about all this prior to the settlement, Param reassured me that all those things will be fixed, and that he was taking it upon himself to sort those matters out after the sale. Param added the builder was aware of the issues and will contact me once the property is sold to get those fixed. He also told me that I can call him anytime, if I have any issues in relation to those matters. Param was pushing for the sale, and I finally bought the property trusting his words. Once the settlement for the property was completed, no one contacted me to get those matters sorted out. I tried calling the builder multiple times but to avail. I called Param and he did not answer my calls or messages. When I managed to get a hold on him, his attitude completely changed. Param was very arrogant and told me that I should take it to the builder as he has nothing to do with it. Most outstanding repairs were not maintenance related but poor workmanship and poor-quality material used. Moreover, I have had multiple gas leaking incidents at the property whereby one of them, I had to incur a high gas bill and was out of gas for a whole night. I also had to get the windows and doors cleaned from cement residue which cost me over $700.00. I am still tirelessly dealing with all those uncompleted/outstanding works myself until now. This whole situation has added more stress to my personal and family life. I trusted Param and bought the property. My kind advise to people dealing with him is to be very careful and dont get fooled when buying a property from Param Sandhawalia.
