Ray was honest and forthright from the Get Go. We toyed with the idea of selling over a few years and Ray was always patient in the background keeping us informed of the market. When we were ready Ray gave a realistic and achievable appraisal for the market at the time, and we felt comfortable knowing that he had a good read of the market and our property as it was unique compared to others nearby. Thus it was hard to value against similar properties. The process was explained easily and clearly and any questions we had were answered before we had to ask. Opens were always with consultation and would fit around our life as it happened. Before the last person inspecting was out of the driveway Ray would provide a full briefing on the prospective purchaser. Prompt follow up and feedback was always given to us. Despite a 'cooling off' of the market during the sale time. House Opens always had new and multiple groups, likely through sensible pricing, quality of listing, including the photographs and narrative of the home and work behind the scenes from Ray. When the right person was found Ray conducted the negotiations open and frankly with us. No pressure was placed and any decision we made. In early 2015, we contacted Ray Cashmore of RT Edgars with a view to selling our property at Monegeetta. Our property is not the run of the mill rural property and we wanted an agent who could appreciate and promote its attributes. Ray came to visit the property and from the outset he was very positive about the property and the prospect of selling at a good price. Ray was very professional and did not give us any unreasonable expectations regarding potential price and/or ease of sale. During the sale process, Ray consistently gave us very good feedback on both the way the property was presented and on the potential purchasers who came through the numerous inspections. Although the sale took some time, Ray was very professional, patient and positive throughout. In the end Ray found us a buyer who loved our property and with whom we were very happy to sell.
