My husband and I travelled to Tasmania with the view to purchase a house for immediate rental and to become our place of residence in the future. Travelling to Devonport as we had found a house we liked on the internet, we walked into Halliwell Property Agents to make an enquiry regarding the house. We were introduced to Tony Reid, as he was the managing agent for the home, he facilitated a viewing inside the home and was able to answer most of our immediate questions on the spot.Once we decided to put an offer in on the house, Tony assisted us with the paperwork required, especially as there were some differences between the protocols of those in Tasmania and those in our home state of WA.Once back in WA, Tony kept us in touch with all developments and assisted us with contacting the various other agencies we required. We successfully purchased our home and have retained Halliwell Property Agents to manage it as a rental for us. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tony; he made the purchase easy to understand and was always contactable either by phone or email, we also found Tony to be very knowledgeable of the region.
