Cavillo's has some great ratings if you like Mexican food. If you're looking for a nice steak dinner or an evening out, try Hideaway Steakhouse.

There are some good restaurants in Alamosa. The San Luis Valley Brewing Company is fun and has pretty good food but a really great environment. There are lots of authentic mexican restaurants, Calvillo's Mexican Restaurant is one that I have been to that is really good when I am travelling through town.
