"A short street not far from the local park and school"
A friend of mine grew up on Alta Avenue and I have visited many times. It is a lovely short street of well established houses and trees close to a park and reserve. It is a quiet street that serves very little traffic.
The park has some good play equipment for younger children and the reserve is home to the local wildlife such as Koalas, Rosellas and Kookaburras.
Alta Avenue is not far from bus route that service the area taking you to Marion, the city or Colenades. It is also not far from some of the best beaches Adelaide has to offer.
With such close proximity to a park and Reynella east Primary and High school within walking distance, this is a great place for families with kids. However, retirees would also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, proximity to reserves and the opportunity to feed the local ducks.
