Moving to Altona Meadowns from Caulfield

Altona Medows has fairly good access to the freeway and laverton train station.

It has a reasonable size shopping center called 'Central Square Shopping Centre' which has an Aldi, Big W and a Coles.

I can't comment on the neighbours as I live in Altona.

The people I know there are well educated and purchased there as they were priced out of Williamstown and Altona. All the girls from highschool who bought there are all married with kids, went to university and are on good incomes.

There are people that purchased there a long time ago that might be a different demographic though. It's a mix of people which I think is happening all over Melbourne at the moment.

The Altona Bay part of Altona Meadows, will mostly likely be higher demographic (east of Victoria street), followed by west of Victoria street bound by Central Avenue to the north, followed by north of Victoria Street which was rezoned Altona Meadows but was previously Laverton. North of Victoria street is closer to the Station and freeway however.
