There are private galleries open to the public in the hamlet of Amenia. The hamlet of Wassaic has the most significant and extensive art installation in Town.

I haven't actually been to it yet, but I heard that Aretephos Studio is in Amenia is pretty nice. It's located at 5323 Rt. 44, Amenia.

There is a Studio 22 Gallery on Route 22 in Amenia according to an article in the Poughkeepsie Journal. I'm not able tot ascertain if it is indeed a public art gallery!
