What is Gairdner Blvd like? I've heard some reports but want to know more

I have lived on Gairdner Boulevard for almost 3 years. To my knowledge there has only been one disturbing incident last year involving a large number of young males. The street itself seems to be quiet. The Stebonheath end of the street is treated as a racetrack (near the roundabout) and there have been a couple of near misses involving animals and their owners. There seems to be quite a few Police patrolling the area at all times of the day and night. Overall, a pleasant street to live in although traffic is increasing.
