Reviews of Angas Street, Alberton

"Very quite and pleasent tree lined street with good community and friendly people."

Angas Street is a wide leafy, quite street running between two parks with playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts and free BBQ's. Its one of the best if not the best street in Alberton. It is close to both trains and buses (3-4 minute walk to either), the local IGA, chemist, deli, fish and chippery, hairdresser and postoffice, (3-5 min walk) and about a 7 min drive to Semaphore South Beach. There is a great mix of people living in the street from all age groups and walks of life.
For those Port Power Fans it is a few minutes walk to the hollowed ground of Alberton Oval.
We have lived in Angas Street for 35 years and have seen many changes, all for the better as people move in and see the benefits of this area and ultimately stay and renovate and restore their houses.
