Newly Retired - Struggling with what to do!
Hi there, I am a 61-year-old female retiree living in Arcadia for almost 20 years and having worked all my life and being out of the house for nearly 12 hours every day I realized that I do not actually know anyone, my husband is still at work every day as not yet ready to retire. Does anyone have any suggestions of any groups, communities or activities to join to help me get to know people?

Hi Denise, yes it can be very hard. I'm part of community groups of Facebook and there is also lots of face to face groups in the area, gardening, walking and even CWA, let me know if you want me to send more info.

What activities do you like to do, I think you are not alone in this, many people don’t have any friends, Sydney is one of those places. Join a club, get out of your comfort zone be prepared to be rejected too
