Hi SusyT, there isn't a fish and chip shop in Ashford that I'm aware of however at Black Forest on South Road there is a row of shops which contains the Australia Post, a Subway, an IGA, a BBQ Chicken Shop and Chapati House Take Away. I can highly recommend Chapati House for Indian, the chip shop may offer fish and chips and seems busy everytime I drive past so it couldn't be that bad :) That's probably your best bet...hope that helps :)
