Grant Park is a great size for a park. It's not as large as Piedmont Park, but it's also not the typical tiny neighborhood "patch of grass" kind of park either. It is completely walkable. So, don't worry. Just wear comfy shoes if you are skeptical. There are plenty of large shade trees to take refuge under during this hot weather. You should definitely try it out. It's one of my favorite parks in Atlanta!
