I think so. I've done it plenty of times, I've never had a problem in Midtown whatsoever (outside of the crazy traffic).

Yep!! Midtown is pretty safe, just make sure you stay in well lit areas. I always wear lights (or reflectors) to make sure I'm as visible as possible during night time jogging or biking. Have fun!
