Is the Castleberry Hills community of Atlanta safe?

The Historic Castleberry Hill area is one of those "up-and-coming" cool places. There are a lot of nifty boutiques and restaurants in the area, as well as beautiful lofts, and mini art galleries. Because this neighborhood is a work in progress, I'd say it might be pretty safe during the day, but maybe not so much at night (if you happen to be wandering down the streets completely a lone after midnight). If you are there at night, just make sure you are with a small group and you should be find. I've been here plenty of times, and it's really not a scary place to me, but some of my friends think that it looks a little sketchy at night. I'd say... first give it a try during the day, and see how you like it. Good luck!
