Whats the crime rate like in Baldivis?

I don't believe the crime rate in Baldivis is any different to any other suburb. There have been lots of thefts from building sites, as with any building site around Perth however due to the large amount of development/Building going on in Baldivis this may have pushed up figures of late??? I believe Baldivis to be a very safe family orientated suburb. Although you do hear of car break-ins, house burglaries etc..but I think this is happening in almost every suburb nowadays :(. Its just a case of thieves being opportunists so if items are left on display in vehicles or houses left unlocked, unsecured then they are going to take advantage of this. I have recently bought a property in Settlers Hills that has no security screens, no alarm, easy access to the rear of the property however after 3 months of worrying that we would get broken into due to all of this...my mind has been put at ease I find the area very safe and touch wood we havn't been broken into thus far!! However i'm still gong to add deterrents to the home...as you never know!!!
