Does Bassendean have a 'cafe strip'?

Bassendean has a great old fashioned main strip on Old Perth Road.
We have an existing favourite, "Hedgehogs" and a great new cafe "The Woods". We have a contemporary italian style cafe / restaurant "Red Poppy's". The historic pub is under new ownership and has reopened the refurbished rear lounge dining area, serving great meals with great specials. The street is about to be re-energised with moden apartments that will bring more street presence and further enhance opportunities for the coffee strip to develop.
I am watching with excitement as when it fully develops, it will be awesome.
