Does proximity to the airport effect the house prices in Bassendean?

I fnd proximity to the railway to be a bonus! Easy to catch public transport into town - save $ and petrol.

I only hear the planes very late at night when it is still. Same thing with the train. There is no direct flight path over Basso, unfortunately the folk in Guildford cop that.

Bassendean prices are booming at the moment. I don't feel that aeroplane noise is a major factor. I think people think it is worse than what it is. At different times you may hear aircraft noise, depending on the wind but most of the time I find it minimal. I don't find the trains a bother at all.

I don't think the main flight paths go over Bassendean and it is a good distance away by road. Bassendean prices are affected by location near to the river and by the character of the houses as well. Proximity to the railway might be more of an issue than occassional plane noise.
