Is Bayswater a family friendly area?

I live in Nollamara at the moment and i want to find a suberb to move to that is quiet, has good facilities and amenities, good shopping centres, nice parks, great primary school, and safe to walk around on my own. I need an honest opinion from people who live there, as where i am now there have been break ins on my street, and there's been times where there's been needles on the path when i've been walking my kids to school and we constantly get harrassed by aboriginals for money when we go to the shop so i need to find somewhere that doesnt have any of that!! If you can help or if you know of an area that has what i want let me know! Thanks xx

Bayswater is a mixed bag, to be honest. But on the whole much better than Nollamara. There are a lot of rentals but most are families. Large elderly population, and a tight-knit community. King William Street is great; nice village atmosphere. Also, good value though, a lot of homes are being renovated which are enticing a new group of people to the area.
