What is Milne St, Bayswater like to live on?

Milne street is a beautiful street with some stunning homes and the top end is close to the Bayswater teenis courts etc and the lower end of the street is closer to the river!

I was driving past this area today and went down by the river and completely forgot to mention the other side of Guildford Rd. On the river side the street is quite long and if you are lucky enough to live lower down then it is an esy walk to the river. It is so peaceful there - used to take my dogs at night and we'd watch they moon from the huge oval area. Just us, not the dogs of course!.

Milne Street is one of quite a few that run off Guildford Rd. They are quite short streets that go between there and Whately Ave in some cases. If memory serves correctly, Milne St has the back of the Catholic Primary school on it and they are doing regular work upgrading the school now. I met quite a few people living on those streets via the Community Centre there, inc one on Milne St and they all seemed to be very friendly with each other and knew all about various local activities. It seems to be a renovators spot though, because at the moment there are blue skips outside every second house! A lot of character houses still there, but lots of new building going on around the area too.
