Would love to know about ideal land aspect in the neighbourhood.

Hello! I'm planning to move to the area from Melbourne and really excited about the change. I'm interested in any of the areas around Belgrave, Selby, Upwey & Tecoma -I figure they all have a similar culture and feel so am open minded to what houses are available in any of those suburbs. I'd like to ask residents who have lived through a few seasons about aspect and neighbourhood-is there a particular part of this area that has more sun and less damp? I explored Tremont however it seems extra cold and wet up there. I'm thinking Belgrave South might not be as wet as other areas and also looks a little flatter. Also curious about those with yards going up or down a hill -which slope do you think is the most ideal? Thanks!
