Is the hospital in Bellingen any good?

It's good for a small community hospital. It does all the basics, however people are often sent to Coffs hospital if they are stable enough. E.g. I broke my arm, so I went to Bellingen hospital and they secured it, then sent me to Coffs Harbour for surgery on it. They generally send pregnant women to Coffs Harbour as well as their maternity ward is limited as far as I'm aware. Kind staff and good facilities, however Coffs Harbour is definitely more prepared for more serious medical conditions.
