Where to live?

I am a 28 year old male from Scottsdale, AZ and may be relocating to Seattle for a possible job opportunity. Based on my research, I am still not sure where to live since lots of articles I read are subjective. I understand I will need to pick my neighborhood based on where I will be working. In the meantime, I am single, prefer a nightlife, but would like to live in a safe area (assuming I can afford it). I was researching Bellevue (near downtown) and possibly Belltown or Queen Anne (North, West, Lower). What would you recommend? Locations that are safe with a nightlife is what I am interested in. Please let me know when you have a chance. Thanks!

Belltown is a super hip area but does have some crime issues. Queen Anne doesn't have a much nightlife that I have seen. Capital hill has lots of nightlife but sometimes has too much. It also depends on where you are going to work. Do you want to walk to work? The south lake union/Denny triangle has a lot of construction going on right now and is starting to get cool.
Hope that helps.
