Commute into City

Commute into City

Berwick, VIC 3806 is located within the Casey local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.

We are looking at moving to Melbourne and are considering Berwick due to value for money. Plus we have two Primary school aged children and looking for good schools. However, we will both be working in the city. What is a realistic commute time pref by train. We are weighing up commute time vs family time vs size of house vs cost of renting. Any advice welcomed!!

The commute time by train from Berwick to the city is approximately an hour and five minutes. This does not take into account any time spent waiting for the train to arrive.
There are many large houses with a good amount of land. If you are planning to rent you
are probably looking at between $350-$600 per week. As to the primary schools I have only heard good reports about all of them. So it is probably more up to which is the closest to your
home beacuse it is good for it to be within walking distance if possible.
