Reviews of Blackbutt, QLD
"Love Blackbutt"
I frequent blackbutt for work and also as it is on our pathway to the coast. It is a great place to stop when you are on the road. The people are friendly and the pub and bakery are good places to grab a feed and a drink.

"Not very friendly at all"
I dislike Blackbutt. Was nice when we first came here, but have soon learned the real side of the people here.
"Friendly and picturesque."
We purchased 5 acres and are building. We chose this area over many because of the location to Brisbane and airports and it is just removed enough from the city to feel remote. It also has excellent internet in spots. Also, how friendly people were. A lovely sense of community. Very polite and helpful trades people and so far we have been very impressed with how helpful the council has been. I think it is a perfect location for healthy grey nomads and people that work from home. Not close enough to university's or hospitals if you need them regularly. I don't know enough about the schools or kindergartens but they appear have community spirit. Nice mountain bike and horse riding trails. Good community activities to get involved in. No large shopping malls if you live to shop you will be dissatisfied. Nice cafe great pizza very friendly staff. A winning pie shop that people love. I don't eat pies :) but it is always full when I go by. The properties are still very affordable.

"Endless, Affordable investment opportunities"
Blackbutt is a small country town which is out of the hustle and bustle. The land and houses are a great way to break into the market when you are just starting out.
So if you are wanting a nice quiet life style at a low cost this is a place and opportunity you want to look at.

Its a safe place with friendly caring people. There is a strong sense of community and almost everything you need is right there. Great place to raise children with respect for the environment.

Well all I can say is that you mustve rubbed someone up the wrong way , done something wrong or annoyed someone in a bad day because I have rellies there so I visit there all the time, and Ive met all the business owners and people that work in them and own the pub as well as the motel etc.and have got to know them all very well and theyve always been welcoming and friendly and happy and kind . So it mustve been you .., because its not them thats for sure. Its the friendliest town ever as is the atmosphere .
