That could depend on what you mean...
It has playgrounds, schools, shops, bus routes and is generally safe to walk around at night, even alone. There is a good mix of ages live in Blakeview. More shops are in the Munno Para Shopping Centre just across Main North Road from the western corner of Blakeview, and in Gawler and Elizabeth (both a 10 minute drive). The bus routes meet the railway line which provides regular services to Adelaide.
