Blakeview, SA 5114 is located within the Playford local government area, part of the Adelaide (Greater) Region in South Australia.

Blakeview was gazetted in 1990 from areas previously in Smithfield and Munno Para. Only the area behind the Shell service station between Churcher Avenue and Twelftree Parade had much housing before that. Springvale Gardens and Springvale Heights estates started development around then.
