"A charming street near the parklands and the CBD"

Botanic Street is a really good spot for uni students to be based. It has a number of cottages (many renovated) and apartment blocks offering affordable accommodation just a 10 minute walk from the CBD and Adelaide University.

It is a wide and leafy street, lined with plane trees. There are a couple of pubs in walking distance, including the Tap Inn, the Royal and the Hackney (the latter two both pokies-funded but still offering good, cheap pub food).

The parklands are right on your doorstep, so it is great for long walks, jogging and cycling.

The area can be a bit dodgy at night, so be careful walking around after dark.
