Best Beaches To Walk My Dog in Brisbane, QLD

I am appealing to the internet to help me. I am on the lookout for beaches for me and my dog can walk on and with easy access to and from Brisbane. I have only been able to find a few beaches and I am sure there has to be more. I have written down the ones I have found on the hope I will find others.

Nudgee Beach

Colmslie Beach Reserve

Red Beach at Woorim

Coolum Beach

I can recommend Coolum Beach as I went there recently although it’s not that close to Brisbane. It is a great location on the Sunshine Coast, 1hr30mins drive from Brisbane. The beach had fabulous facilities including barbecues, lots of shady rest spots, children’s play area, minutes to nearby shops & cafes and excellent public toilet facilities. If you were planning a beach trip with your dog and the family, it is perfect. I didn’t have a dog with me on my visit, but this site advises dogs can be off the leash at all times.

If you are looking for parks as well as beaches, Brisbane has got a couple of amazing ones.
You should check out Boorabbin Picnic Ground, Berkshire Crescent Park and Abbeville Street Park.
Boorabbin is my fav!
