Coastal brissie suburbs for professional couple with large dog

Hi everyone,
We are a couple in our late twenties/mid thirties with a german shepherd puppy (1yo) who are looking into making the move from Sydney to Brisbane by May 2018. We'd like to be close to (dog) parks, beach, public transport and no more than 1h commute to the city. I have seen many suggesting the Sunshine Coast and although it all sounds great and looks beautiful, we are really set for Brisbane. If anyone could suggest the best suburbs for us with affordable houses for renting ($400 max pw)

Thank you!

Albany Creek has a great dog park. However, houses would probably rent from $450..000 up You could also try Ferny Hills or Keperra. Both have trains and you would a dog park in Ferny Hills in the park between Bunya Road and Leatherwood Drive.

Brighton, Sandgate, Shorncliffe, Nudgee Beach are all on the bay. The 3 former also have excellent transport with train direct to city.
