Moving from Perth to Brisbane - what's a good affordable suburb to buy?
Brisbane Region is located in the state of Queensland.

This depends on what price range you are looking to buy into, also what are your specifications in terms of bedrooms, bathrooms etc.
Are you looking for a family suburb, close to the city or work?
Suburbs such as Newmarket or Bardon are nice and still close to the city and nice cafes but a lot more affordable than say New Farm or Paddington. Hope I have answered your questions.

Hi Phobia39
In addition I would recommend watching the latest report from RP Data on Brisbane's most affordable suburbs:

This will depend on how close you want to be to the CBD. How much are you looking to spend on a property? Have you found work in a certain suburb?
- With a budget of between $250k to $450k, a few suburbs which are reasonably priced for first home buyers south of the river include Rocklea, Fairfield, Acacia Ridge, Salisbury & Coopers Plains.
- With a budget of between $450k to $700k, suburbs of interest to you south of the river include Moorooka, Tarragindi, Annerley & Yeronga.
