City edge development
Brompton, SA 5007 is located within the Charles Sturt local government area, part of the Adelaide (Greater) Region in South Australia.
We are interested in knowing whether Brompton and the City Edge development is a great area to live. How often do the buses run, is there many young people constantly driving through at night doing burnouts and is the area safe to walk around at night? This development looks really great, with some lovely torrens title homes and townhouses being built.

From the transport point of view, you're in transport heaven! Trains, trams (trams are free from the Port Rd stop to the City) and buses, all going all the time (well, for Adelaide anyway lol).
As for the other part, it's hard. The area was heavy industrial and so used to be quiet from the perspective there was not a lot of residents. But, then Housing Trust was put in 20 or so years ago and that created issues. Now, I personally think it's a wait and see. If the development is done properly and they pull it off, it'll be a great little hub and worth it's weight in gold.
My only advice - make sure you have soil toxicity reports for any home or land you buy. It should have been cleaned up, but you never know!
