Would Brookdale be a cheap area to buy a house for weekends in Perth?

It would be cheap, but it is right on the edge of Perth, so it would not really give you access to much of the city. I'd choose further inland, closer to the main city if you could, but all depends what you want it for. If it is a spot to stop in from the farm while you do shopping and go to the movies once in a while then it could be fine. It is not the best area though, so watch out if you leave it empty too long - could be some damage.
