RETIRING TO BUSSELTON

Does anyone have any tips on the above? I am 60 years young, outgoing and friendly, a single lady living in London and have fallen in love with beautiful Busselton and surrounds on two recent fairly long-term stays.

I love the beach, walking the dog, the fantastic library, the weekend market, the weekday coffee shops and the country drives. My main concern is will it be enough for the next 30 (I hope) years.

Tell me about your experiences, particularly if you are single. Do you fit in? Are you accepted into the community? Etc. etc. etc.

Thank you.

Hi Pam,
I lived in WA many years in Port Kennedy.
I visited Busselton a couple of times and it seemed nice but can be a bit cold in winter, best to have a wood fire in the house but I think most come with one so check when you buy!

Port Kennedy is a nice beach side suburb, approx 45 minutes south of Perth, I lived there about 4 years ago.

Hope you have a good time in Western Australia it is a lovely place to live!

Hi Beth, I’m also thinking of retiring to Bussleton WA. Not sure how old this post is, but wondering if you’ve made the move and have settled in?
