Well I go to Caboolture State High School and most people have this stigma saying it is such a bad school. I know from personal experience that there isn't violence like what people say. All schools around Caboolture are very sporting. The best way to get your kids involved is to engage in sports. They mainly go for the football and soccer. However the football in the area is very competitive. Education wise they have the high classes for your top students and the low classes which are generally for those who are more focused on sports. I know that the state schools don't have the highest OP rating, but we do many practice tests. My school focusses mainly on reading. Last year our highest OP score was a two which is the second best you can get. His OP lost one point do to the school average, but that isn't very bad. Most other schools can make your OP lose five points. There are a few private schools too. I haven't been to one, but a lot of the kids say they are all sport too. Though I would expect that they have a more positive outlook. Most of the schools are very labour orientated after 20 years, in other words you learn more about asylum seekers rather than actual geography and the lay of the land. I hope this helps and you get the best education.
