Any of the northern beach suburbs from Trinity Beach north if you prefer a quieter lifestyle.
Basically, families to the south of Cairns and the Redlynch Valley; Freshwater area for the younger set; Forget Machans, Holloways and Yorkeys Knob Beach- under the flight path and very noisy; Retirement suburbs are Trinity Beach and north.
