Any dog friendly beaches in the south, close to Canning Vale?

If you are looking to take your dog for a swim or run on the beach then Fremantle is the best option for you. Canningvale would be about 10-20 mins down South Street to Fremantle, depending on the time of day on which of Canningvale's suburbs that you live in. There is Leighton Bch which has nice shallow waters for dog and human paddling, South Beach (only the northern part of SB) near the Fremantle Sailing Club and just outside Fremantle CY O'Connor Beach and Catherine Pt Reserve which are usually less crowded. The last two are dog friendly as opposed to being 'dog beaches'.
