Had enough with neighbours!

This morning I was forced to park my car in the street after having some tradesman needing access to my drive way. Now the street is full of cars parked either side of street given our proximity to public transport and shops down the road.

So, I legally parked my car in a spot that (not in someone elses driveway) was parallel to a nature strip.

Next thing I know I've got a pissed off neighbour at my door saying because our car was parked in front of their house the garbage collection men didn't collect their bins. (the collection was late this morning, after peak hour).

I said to them anyone could have parked there, it's not a permit zone and that they should take it up with council.

You should check the law on your local council website.

Sounds like someone is just annoyed about the garbage collection - call the council to get them to come back and your neighbour should be happy.
